Deploy single file
GodBlessMe
Hi,
Is it possible to deploy a single file with Opendeploy? I want to deploy a single file from one server to another by specifying the file name as a parameter. If anyone has done this before, please help me with this.
Thanks

What version of OD? OD5.6 has command-line parameters available in a key-value format that I think will do what you're looking to accomplish.

We are using OD 551 on solaris. I want to deploy a single file from a directory by passing the file name as a parameter.
Thanks

If you not concerned with comparing source and target files, you can use a File List deployment.

It's not possible to specify the file to be deployed in the deployment config. (And therefore you can't do this with param substitution.)
You'll have to create a file list with a single entry for the file to be deployed. You can use param substitution to specify the name of the file list if that changes with each deployment.
