Sivy,
This integration will be certified in the next few weeks. Do you have any specific requirements? Are you yourself implementing this? Have you worked with previous versions of team portal for IBM?
RSVP to

for more info. or questions.

what exactly are you planning to do? Are we talking about IBM Portal here? sorry, but your post is a bit vague.

We are currently evaluating TS 6 and are struggling to merge it with WAS (WebSphere Apllication Server) 5. We will probable install Turbo 5.5.2 this week and see if that is successful.
For 2 of our clients we currently have running TS 5.5.2, WAS 4 and Team Turbo 5.5.2, as they want to upgrade to WAS 5, and in the future also to TS 6. We are looking at the possibilities. We never used TeamPortal as it was not available at that time.

sivy,
I do not **think** that TS 6 and turbo 552 are compatible. Though you might be able to get it to work

So you are saying that there currently is NO way (that is supported by Interwoven) to have any web application server working with Team Site 6?

sivy,
Are you planning to do code develpoment using WAS? I have not tried integrating WAS and TS 6. It could be possible.

There are many alternatives available to integrate WebSphere and TeamSite. TeamTurbo may not be your best option. Please provide specifics on what you are trying to do so we can help you out.

We currently have a TS 5.5.2 box running with WAS 4 and the TeamTurbo whereas templating is outputting jsp's into the WAS...so the main question is...
is there a TeamTurbo available for TS 6? In combination with WebSphere 4 or 5?

While we are not carrying the TeamTurbo product forward to the 6.0 release, the vast majority of functionality is still available. Please contact tech support for more information.

Ok so TeamTurbo will not be available for version TS 6, so an alternative is TeamPortal?
TeamPortal only supports WebSphere Portal Server 4.1.2 and TS 5.5.2...will TeamPortal be available for TS 6 in the future?
Is there an alternative way to get a WAS working with TS 6?

It sounds like the integration you're looking for is between TS and WAS to provide virtualization of the code+content in the TS workarea. This is the area covered by the discontinued TeamTurbo product.
TeamPortal addresses integration of Content Management portlets into the WebSphere Portal server. It does not address WAS integration for virtualization purposes. TeamPortal for TS 6 and WPS 5 is expected to be available for download next week.
If you are trying to setup virtualization between TS 6 and WAS, your options are really centered on regex mappings as done prior to the TeamTurbo products. There're many experts on this at IWOV and post on this regex item directly might yield results. There should also be some decent papers either on DevNet or support about using regex for setting up virtualization as it's been done this way for years even when the Turbo provided additional functionality it was often too complex and required too many changes that customers did not implement it.
The discontinued TeamTurbo product will not support either TS 6 or WAS 5 on the other end. This too was an issue with the product there was no API on either side to shield changes from one release of either app server or TeamSite and ultimately made the Turbo very brittle and unsustainable.
I'd try a post on regex mappings for virtualization purposes. The down-rev Turbo will not work with the latest releases of IBM or TeamSite.

Has anyone gotten this to work yet with TS version 6.1, Windows 2003, and IBM Websphere (4.0,5.0,5.1)????? I have an Interwoven Consultant who is onsite who does not know how to do this and does not have any documentation on how to do this. I currently was able to get a JSP page to come up in IIS 6.0, and have a regex redirect to the same compiled JSP in Websphere. I need it to point to Websphere, which in turns points back to the Workarea of Teamsite.
Thanks,
