Is it possible to display different portlets in Content Center Standard based on the user role?

Currently you cannot display different portlets in CCStd base on user role.

When might that become a reality? Is it in the works or would this be a new "feature"? I would want to go even further and have the ability to customize based on users and OS groups, in lieu of being able to create my own custom TeamSite roles.

It's only on the drawing board, there is no comitted date, and yes it's considered a new feature. The ability to base on users and OS groups is not something being considered right now.

Yea Smitty, I think you will see this about the same time you see custom roles.

That one has been on the enhancement list since 3.5
