Deploy single file from a contributor's workarea.

I would like to deploy a single file from a contributor's workarea. The content contributor would select the file in TS, and that file gets deployed directly to the website. We're on OD 4.5.1 What's the best way to do this?

Create a custom menu item that dynamically creates a file list and deployment config file and calls OpenDeploy.

Are you sure you want to deploy from a workarea? That leaves you with no way of auditing what was on that page at any point and time because there is no version associated with the deploy. Typically, its a better idea to deploy from STAGING (or and edition) where there is version history.
