How do i get a DCT value in workflow? please help me out in this..its quite urgent!

I'm assuming you mean a DCR value that was captured via a DCT.
Do you want to get the value before the workflow starts and make decisions on what the workflow will do based upon the DCR value or after it has started running and have external tasks do something with it?
