I looked at the compatibility chart for OpenDeploy. Did not see HP 11.23 on the chart. Has anyone installed on 11.23? Were there any issues?

HP makes the following statement about binary compatibility:

Are you running HP-UX on a PA-RISC system or Itanium system? OD has been built and certified on PA-RISC only. But I believe HP claims to offer binary compatibility across architectures via a machine instruction emulation layer.

Thank you Todd as always. I believe that my Unix person was asking about the Itanium system. We may have some in house sometime early next year. Are there any plans to certify on the Itanium system?

No plan at this time. However, FR #50102 is on file for tracking demand for this platform (HP-UX on Itanium).
