We are working on TS 5.5.2. We are using forms API to call a JSP to read data from a DCR on save of the DCR and put the data into database. OnSaveValid event has been trapped on the client and the javascript code is as follows.

params["curr_WA"] = getWorkarea() ;
params["DCR_Name"] = "/templatedata/" + getCategoryAndType() + "/data/" + IWDCRInfo.getDCRName()
params["Usr_role"] = IWDatacapture.getRole();
params["User_Id"] = IWDatacapture.getUser();
IWDatacapture.callServer( "/iw/webdesk/custom/load_data.jsp", params, false );


I am trying to read the passed parameters in the jsp through the request object as follows.

String Curr_WA = request.getParameter("curr_WA");
String DCRName = request.getParameter("DCR_Name");
String usrRole = request.getParameter("Usr_role");
String usrId = request.getParameter("Usr_Id");

Is this the correct way if reading these values? If not can someone tell me how to read them.

Yes, Thats the correct way of reading those values. Are u experiencing any problem by following this approach ?
