Search DCR does show replicant
gsheebu
Hi,
The Search DCR used in searching DCR after datadeploy, does not show the replicant field. If the replicant has a paragraph, then it is not shown but if the paragraph is by itself without a replicant it is displayed as a search field.
Please tell why this is happenning? And how can I view the replicant fields?
Regards
Shiv

DCR (and Metadata) Search have never shown replicants - because the logic behind searching for content in a replicant iw not well defined. If you want to search for the text "mumble" in your DCRs - you have to formulate a query string that would search each-and-every-column that your replicant uses *or* you have to make sure that you specify "mumble" in the correct instance of the replicant within a search form to line up with what's in the DB.
I think there were some other complications too - but that was sufficient for not providing that functionality in those features.
Of course, you're always welcome to write your own code and/or file cases with Interwoven Support...
