Port 20014 - RMI?

Greetings,

I need to verify the communication mechanism between the base and receivers for content deployment. In the OpenDeploy 5.6 reference guide there is an OpenDeploy Ports section. For all of the ports, except for port 20014, the guide indicates that the ports are for RMI communication. Can I assume that deployments over the default port of 20014 are handled via RMI as well?

No. The deployment is done via a TCP session that is always initiated by the sender.

So the deployments happen over TCP, but the administration server communicates to remote servers via RMI - is that correct?
