unlock.ipl

Has anyone modified the /usr/iw-home/local/bin/unlock.ipl script to handle directories? I would like it to be able to handle users selecting a whole directory that could contain other directories for submission in the workflow, and if they do so now, it doesn't recursively go through the directory and unlock the files so that the whole thing can be submitted.

This would only be used in cases when rolling sites out for the first time, other wise you would not want this.

im pretty sure you cant lock directories.... actually i dont think you can do much with directories at all.

What you would need, is the recursively run through any selected directories and lock each file (and possibly attach them too).

If you take a look in the PERL forum, there's a couple of threads going on that show a whole bunch of ways to handle recursion - you might be able to pick up some ideas there.

However - even though unlock.ipl is in IWHOME/local/bin - consider it as a product deliverable - and do not modify it, but rather create your own copy of it and modify that.
