Any recommended or required screen resolution for Windows2000 Professional client accessing W2K TS 6 server?
Looks like res. lower than 1024x768 might be problematic.

Hello,
The recommended resolution for viewing the ContentCenter interfaces is 1024x768 or greater. However, the user interfaces should be fully functional on a resolution of 800x600. Are there are specific areas in the UI where you run into issues at this resolution or is it completely inoperable?
If there are specific areas, please let me or Interwoven support know what they are so that we can address these issues in future releases.
Thanks,

& TeamSite Administrators need 21 in flat panel displays. :-)

I am using a screen resolution of 1152x864 pixels and the GUI still has a couple of issues.
1) It would be good to have a horizontal and\or vertical scrollbar. If you are in a nested structure in TS GUI and select 'File Properties', the OK and Save buttons are not in view and there is no way to scroll across other than dragging your mouse across while holding it down.
3) Also at a lower screen resolution view, the file names get truncated and its not possible to determine the file extension at a first look. You have to keep adjusting the middle divider b/w the folder view and the file view
2) In the workflow tab, the View -- My Job dropdown gets completely hidden and the same problem of getting it to show.
It would be good from a UI perspective to have scroll bars for machines set with a lower screen resolution that what IW is recommending.
Thanks.

We are already aware of these problem, and they are being investigated or fixed. We endeavour to provide scroll bars when necessary, but regrettably missed a few cases.

Thanks. Are they being addressed in TS6.0 SP2 or later?

Hey,
Thanks for the feedback...some comments below:
1) It would be good to have a horizontal and\or vertical scrollbar. If you are in a nested structure in TS GUI and select 'File Properties', the OK and Save buttons are not in view and there is no way to scroll across other than dragging your mouse across while holding it down.
This is a known issue that we are currently working on.
3) Also at a lower screen resolution view, the file names get truncated and its not possible to determine the file extension at a first look. You have to keep adjusting the middle divider b/w the folder view and the file view
If you mouse over the link, a tooltip should appear with the complete filename. If this is not happening for you, please write back with your browser/OS config and I'll file a bug on your behalf.
2) In the workflow tab, the View -- My Job dropdown gets completely hidden and the same problem of getting it to show.
Could you attach a screenshot of what you are seeing please. I could not reproduce on my machine.
Cheers,

We're having trouble with both 800 X 600 and 1024 X 768 (haven't tried it at a res higher than the latter). It's almost completely inoperable at 800 X 600, and screens are being cut off at 1024 X 768 as well. As mentioned earlier, the right pane, without the scroll bar, is particularly problematic. Is there any way to customize the widths of the columns in the right pane?

These problems are identified as bugs 47181, 45824, and 50255, respectively.
A fix for 45824 will be in the 6.0L release. The other two issues are being investigated. To get the latest status of these bugs, or to have your name added to the list of interested customers, please contact Support.
