Cache Size

Hi,
In the TeamSite Administration Guide Release 5.5.2 it says "The initial cache size setting should be approximately three times the number of files and directories on the largest branch."
But does the "the number of files and directories on the largest branch" mean all files in a branch including all workareas and editions? Or do they mean the largest workarea, edition, staging…

I use the find-command together with grep wc -l
to count the number of files.

We are running TS 5.5.2 on AIX, and currently has set cache size to 60 000.

This means one instance of the site. So if you are importing 30K files of content, then 90K cache is appropriate.

Do not count multiple WA, Staging, Editions, you will get a huge (and very inaccurate) number.
