TeamSite Licenses
sunil_j
Hi,
What are the various TeamSite licenses? What is an unlimited license? If I have an unlimited license, do I need to Purchase "Developer Suite" ?

You shoudl talk to a sales critter about this, however, here is some guidelines:
TeamSite has a server component and a user component. You need both. The server is how many CPUS on a single box (2, 4, unlimited), an unlimited server is a SINGLE server with as many CPUS as you can cram in there. IT IS NOT AN UNLIMITED NUMBER OF SERVERS. Very common misconception.
Once you have a server, you need user (named) licenses. Authors & Power users. There may be others as well (portal users). These are for people who contribute content for the website.
A development server is usually required. It gives you a sandbox to write WFs, integrations, templates, etc and test it out without testing on your production system. That is a good thing. Depending on your environment you may have multiple dev servers, for disparate business units that can all run off of the same TS server. THat is my current setup.
Then look at OpenDeploy, MetaTagger, etc for other things to spend money on.
