Open Deploy logs

I am looking for some functionality with Open Deploy. We are doing an integration with Verity. We are doing deployments from TeamSite using edition comparison.

Is there a way to find what files have changed and pop them into a log file? Is this already being done?

For example, if two files have changed between the latest version of STAGING and the last edition is there a way to capture these values?

Any help on this would be great.

I am not quite sure how a log file with differences between latest edition and staging area would help when you are doing edition comparison deployment - which deploys differences between two editions (if thats what you meant by edition comparison). Maybe I do not quite understand what you want to achieve, and why.

Anyways, you can have a DNR script in your deployment which can run iwcmp between the STAGING area and the latest edition, and dump the results to a log. See the CLT guide for usage of iwcmp - which can compare two (TeamSite) areas, directories or files.
