TS 6 entity database

We sometimes see file and folder 'owners' show up in TS GUI as SID's (e.g., s-1-23-45...) instead of recognizable userid's. This situation is thought to reflect problem with entity database. Rebooting the server has addressed the problem, at least in one instance.

Is this a problem with the entity database? Any idea how to avoid the problem?
