cgi script location
System
Do all scripts being called from a cgitask have to be in httpd/iw-bin? I realize specifying a path causes the task to fail. But is there a way to change an environment variable or something to the force the cgi to look somewhere else?
The reason for this is that we have multiple groups using a common workflow but can start it with unique scripts. Keeping these scripts organized in unique areas is the goal.

Hi Jeff
The workflow manual certainly seems pretty clear that all scripts called via cgitask need to be in iw-home/httpd/iw-bin.
Instead of having multiple scripts, would it be feasible in your situation just to have one script and pass a parameter to it? That would be quite organised
Hope this helps.

You could create a central, common script with re-directs to other scripts that would be different for your different clients. Those other scripts could reside somewhere other than iw-bin.

Alternatively, use a unique common prefix for naming the scripts - like if you customer is Animals Inc (making it up, if it's real I'm sorry) - then create scripts like:
aninc_somescript.ipl
aninc_anotherscript.ipl
etc.
This way you can keep the files within the iwhome/httpd/iw-bin/ and still keep them organized and identified.
