One of our TeamSite users wants to translate several sites built in TeamSite. He plans to use an agency that uses Trados to translate the XML files.

Does any of you have any experience working with Trados (or any other translation tool)?

Our tranlsation department uses Trados.
We have a workflow which manages the dcr flow back and forth (for up to 3 languages).
Trados itself uses a DB to save translated text to enable suggestions and continuity for future work.
Trados uses a tag editor to present the user with the xml document and allow them to change the to be translated content.
Our experience is generally good, much depends on user training (to avoid translating template information) and clean wf proceedures for file manegment (to avoid conflicts and cross updates).
