CGI task to set metadat

In a CGI task which sets metadata for files, but the task can't bring up the interface defined by datacatpture.cfg.
Here is the metadata-rules.cfg:

</metadata-rules>

It works from the file dropdown menu,
Can anybody help?

What happens instead ?
Do you get any error messages ?
How are you trying to invoke the CGI task ? I assume its a part of workflow ?

What version of TeamSite are you using ? SP/Patch level ? OS ? (probably not necessary but wouldn't harm to specify)

It does not give me error message. It only gives a page with TeamSite metadata and a logo.

BTW, I found out that it works for one branch but not another.
