The DCT has been changed while migrating from TeamSite 5.0 on Solaris to 5.5.2 on Windows and the DCRs must be modified to account for this change. All DCR manipulations are done using TeamSite:

CRnode. For some DCRs two scripts have to be run, one to do some global DCR changes and another to do some changes that are specific to that category/type. Regardless of what order the scripts are run in the results (problems) are the same. The DCT contains a replicant. The first instance of the replicant contains items with empty values. After the first script runs, the replicant data which had looked something like:
<item name="replicantname">
<value>
<item name="itemname">
<value></value>
</item>
...
</value>
<value>
<item name="itemname">
<value>this instance of the replicant has values</value>
</item>
...
</value>
</item>
now look like:
<item name="replicantname">
<value>
<item name="itemname" />
...
</value>
<value>
<item name="itemname" />
...
</value>
</item>
That's fine, but after the second script runs they look like this:
<item name="replicantname" />
<item name="replicantname">
<value>
<item name="itemname">
<value>this instance of the replicant has values</value>
</item>
...
</value>
</item>
This causes the first instance of the replicant to not appear in the UI, so when it is saved it disappears completely. What could be causing this? Is this a bug or a known issue? Is there any way to avoid it?
