Perl Script Question

Hi All,
Just curious to know about the mkdir command on a W2K Server box. I am trying to created directories with a script:

.../WORKAREA/temp/2/1/index-e.html (example)

In this case /2 and /1 don't exists, is there a flag I can use with mkdir (like -p on Solaris) to create the whole path? mkdir keeps choking because it won't let you create empty sub directories.

mkdir on W2K will automatically create subdirectories for you (no -p needed)

Try running: mkdir /?

However, if you're using Perl - I agree with Andy - use File: Smiley Tongue

ath's mkpath rather than invoking a system / shell command to run a separate CLT.
