Templating API in CSSDK 2.0

I have a open case on this with no response and I am wondering if anyone else has tried using the deprecated Templating API in CSSDK 2.0

I have attached a jsp file that I have tried to get working but when I call the templating api, It doesn't return anything.

Am I doing something wrong, any help would be appreciated!!
