Confirmation upon submitting Runjob

Hi

When ever an user triggers a workflow he is taken to a page where he fills up some values ( comments etc etc) and then clicks on Run job to submit the workflow.

Can we have some pop up (say an information box) saying that the workflow has been submitted, And that you will get an Email informing you when the job is approved.

That Is Will it be possible to have an popup saying the workflow was sucessful when the user clicks on runjob ?

If you are using the standard .wft approach I think you could put a CGItask as first in workflow to do this, certainly not the only way and maybe not the best.

Actually, I think an "immediate" cgitask owned by iw_user as the start task in the workflow is a very reasonable way to do this - you can have the CGI script do a callback immediately, to have the workflow continue chugging along and provide a simple "Close" button in the window for the user to dismiss it after they've read the message (or perhaps also include a wait-loop that does the same thing)
