Asset metadata after search

After I retrieve an array of assets from a search, I noticed that the assets' metadata has not been populated. Is this by design or am I missing a step somewhere? It comes across fine when I use GetAsset( ) but not when I use Search( ).

This is by design. Only a small subset of asset metadata is returned within the search results. To get the full list, use GetAsset()
