excluding symbolic link in OD

Is there a way to exclude symbolic links from being deployed? I see in the documentation (OD5.6/Solaris) that I can follow links, etc, but don't see where I can keep them from deploying at all.

The only symlink related deployment option is whether to follow links during the deployment. That means either a symlink gets deployed or the file referenced by a symlink is deployed.

If you know which files or dirs are symlinks, you can explicitly exclude them from the deployment using path or pattern filters.
