Setting select options for item inside replicant

Hello everybody,

I have to dynamically set the select options of a sub-item inside a replicant item. I am getting the select options from a javascript file included inside FormAPI.

As far as I think this is possible using setOptions function of FormAPI. Now the problem is- how can I use it for items inside replicants.
