IWPortalClient.finishTask???

Hi all,
I want to know weather the method IWPortalClient.finishTask
submits files from workarea to staging area????if the above method does the task what abt submit and submitDirect methods of IWPortalClient class???how are they different from finishTask method of IWPortalClient class.???

hi,
IWPortalClient.finishTask is a generic method to be used for all kinds of tasks. If you have a submit task that has the files you need to be submitted, then you can call finishTask, and the task will take care of submit.
the submit method is just to get a URL to display a submit file dialog box, if you need to customize UI, in order for the user to click on 'finish task' button, and finish the task.
submitDirect is used to submit files without involving either UI or workflow.
