Checking When User Last Logged In
Bjorn
Anyone know of a good way to check the last time a user (actually, a bunch of users) logged in? Checking the IWEVENTS isn't good enough because it only records events, not logins.

As I recall, TeamSite is relatively stateless and does not actually record login/logout times. iwrecentusers provides *some* capabilities along these lines, but not something that is really definitive.
The only thing I could think of would be to hack [read: unsupported] the login.jsp code to register when someone has logged in. Of course you also have to deal with the fact that the authentication cookie lifespan throws a wrench into the works as someone can easily re-enter an already existing authenticated session without physically logging in again.

below the result of my investigations :
After some investigations i noticed that class OpenAPIAuthenticator has a method called "authenticate" that prints in servletd.log the credentials of the user that log into the system.
The problem is that you just print the status of an object "Identity" but don't print the timestamp :
System.err.println("OpenAPIAuthenticator.authenticate(" + identity + ")");
Could you please modify the method "authenticate" the following way so that we'll have :
SimpleDateFormat simpledateformat = new SimpleDateFormat("yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss");
System.err.println("" + simpledateformat.format(new Date()) + " OpenAPIAuthenticator.authenticate(" + identity + ")");
then rebuild the webapp - actually framework.jar file and send it to us
Method "release" could also be modified in order to trace the time a user logged out

I think you are asking for a feature request for TeamSite. If that is the case, your best bet is to contact Interwoven Support, and indicate you want to be kept up to date with the status of the feature request. You can reference this devnet thread, it won't hurt your case.
If you are asking for something else, please explain, perhaps I just did not understand.
