Setting file list on a task

We need to invoke our workflows programatically. When a user selects the dcr in UI, that particuar dcr is attached to the files element. So $task->GetFiles return that particular dcr.
I tried setting iw_file tag programatically, that didn't work. Any ideas?

Can you provide a bit more context about where/how you are trying to set the file list information programmatically?

Is this *inside* the context of the workflow (externaltask/cgitask script) or *outside* the context of the workflow (e.g. custom menu item that instantiates a workflow?)

Thanks for taking interest in my question. Following is the code snippet for instantiating a workflow programatically.

instantiateWorkflow creates workflow using TeamSite::wfSystem perl module.

Somewhere else in you WFT the variable @submit_file is being set to an array of area relative paths (strings). You can set the value to your desired list of files -- or add your files to the set that is already present -- and then change the test to "if (@submit_file)".
