import files
Trina
Recently I have installed TS6.0 on Win2YK, everything seems to work fine, except when I try to "Import" the files, I only see a blank page (no error message, just blank). Also, the same thing happens when I try to "Edit", "View --> My Local Files", all I see are "My Local Files" on the left and "Settings..." on the right side. When I click Settings...blank area within the page is displayed - no error message at all. Any ideas?

Same problem happened with one of our users the other day. We logged out of TeamSite, closed all browsers, opened up a new browser, logged back into TeamSite, tried to import again and that did the trick for us.

It sounds like java isn't installed or working properly with
your browser.

Trina,
the My Local Files functionality works via an applet. In order to get this to work, you'll need to either have the MSFT VM installed (which normally comes installed with the OS, if youre a windows user), or the Sun JVM available here:
http://java.com/en/index.jsp
.
Also what OS and Browser are you using?
Thanks,

Hi,
We got around this same issue by deleting the CLASSPATH variable from the environmental variables on the Windows client and then rebooting...there is a KB on the fix somewhere...

I have tried everything that I can think about and yet...problem has not resolved.
I am using Win2yk, IE 6.0.2800.1276, SP1, Virtual Machine version 5.0.3810.0.
I also remove CLASSPATH as suggested.
What else could it be missing? please help!

Hi Trina,
Did you restart your client system after removing the CLASSPATH? That needs to be done as well.

If you point your browser at applets at other sites does it
work? That might tell you if the java install is broken.
If other java applications have been installed on your
client PC that can affect things - that's why the CLASSPATH
suggestion.
Also check your browser security settings and see if that
prevents java applets from running.
You might need to contact tech support if you're still stuck.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions. The issue is Microsoft JVM doesnot work. I have installed Sun JVM and it seems to work fine now.
