Cross-platform command line control
stevekrys
Currently have an install of TS 5.5.2 on Windows (NT). Overall system is MVC architecture using WebLogic server. Java codebase is stored in CVS on UNIX. Release process scripts exist in UNIX environments to pull jsp files from TeamSite Windows repository and build/package with java code files in UNIX environments. Our release engineer would like to tap into TS command line on Windows using his UNIX scripts to automate processes from one script. Is this possible and if so any ideas on how it can be done?

We use command line controls to sync files from the TS server to build host machines for several platforms. This involves synching files from TS to the build machines. Nothing about this relies on the TS server host platform. You might look at OpenDeploy for synching [changed] files from the TS repository to the Unix hosts that build packages.
