LDAP Authentication for TeamSite

Hi,

I want to authenticate TeamSite users using a Novell LDAP (Novell Directory Service). How do I acheive the same? I have done the changes as required by the iw.cfg for an LDAP authentication and did a reset on the server. Still I am not able to authenticate TeamSite users when I enter my Novel Login and Password.

I have a Windows 2000 Server on a standalone domain (i.e we do not have a Windows Domain Network Architecture) on which TeamSite 5.5.2 is installed. I want to authenticate my business users whose information are located centrally on a Novell LDAP server. We do not have Microsoft Active Directory Server.

Can someone let me know how to acheieve a true LDAP authentication using a Novell LDAP?

My LDAP information may be out of date, but I'm not sure that on Windows you can do LDAP authentication against anything other than ActiveDirectory. At least, that was true a year or so ago. Might be worth a double-check of the documentation for that limitation.

Does that mean TeamSite on Windows 2000 Server can't be configured to authenticate users on any other LDAP except Windows Active Directory ?

How are other users mainitaing User accounts on Local System w.r.t. user passwords policy?
