Hi all!
Can anyone help me across to configure the workflow. We are on windows platform. Do we need to install any workflow related software to create workflows?

Hi Murali,

There is not much in configuring a workflow (if you are not working with WF Builder, which I suggest don't). You need to make sure the
$iw-home\local\config\wft\available_templates.cfg exists and you have made the necessary changes to the file.

Suggest, you take up the Workflow Guide to start with.

As i am a new user to teamsite, have'nt gone throught that cfg file. Anyway, thanx for your early reply with good suggetion.

I'd also suggest looking at the available training courses (on-line/WBT/CyberSchool or in-classroom/lecture-lab) for workflow (if you click the Education tab near the top of this page, it will take you to where you can look for information about these things)

TS has a couple of pre-installed workflows, it is good to look at one of them and get familiar with the code. You can just copy one add it to the available_templates file and just modify it.
