Y Drive Sharing
MooseManCT
Does anyone have any experience with creating shares to workarea folders on the virtual Y drive. I can create the share and set permissions fine. Stopping\Starting TeamSite has no impact but a reboot of the server deletes the shares. Is there any way to retain them or do I have to create a bat job to recreate every time the server gets booted?

IIRC, I tried doing this somewhere, and we discovered exactly the same thing. The issue was that on a re-start, the OS tried to set up the shares, but the directory to be shared didn't exist (because TeamSite wasn't finished with its startup sequence yet). The solution is, as you have suggested, to create a script of some kind to re-share the folders when the Y: drive is completely up. Make sure your script checks for the existence of the folder before trying to set up the share. If it doesn't exist, you probably want to put a wait-retry loop. Of course, make sure you've got a max-wait concept on the loop, just in case something weird happens and TeamSite doesn't ever come up.
