OD Webadmin Settings

Hi,
we're using OD 5.5.1 SP2 with patch P40404 installed on a Windows 2k advanced server. The OpenDeploy Web-Admin-Gui (the list of source deployments) does'nt display all deployments that have been run - so did our last installation on Windows NT without P40404.
Is there a setting to adjust the "source-deployment-list-display" or is this a "bug" ?

The list of deployments will be lost if you shut down the OpenDeploy base server (or receiver, depending upon which you are looking at.)
There is finite number of jobs that will remain in the list, after which old jobs fall off. An attribute called completedQueueSize was added, although I can't remember if this came into being for OD 5.5.1 or 5.6. I think the default value for the queue size is 50.
Note that in OD 5.6, you can use the event reporting feature to maintain a persistent list of jobs and details about the jobs.

Thanks for this info - can you also tell me were to adjust the "completedQueueSize" ? I can't figure out were to put it...

completedQueueSize is documented in the 5.6 manual, but not in the 5.5.1 manual - which probably means it was introduced in 5.6.

uhm... well we're definetely using OD 5.5.1 and we're definetely having only the latest 51 (i counted them :-) entrys in the queue.
Since we have a lot of tiny filelist deployments over the day it would be very helpful to adjust the queue...
Update: I inserted completedQueueSize in odserver.dtd - time will tell if this works with OD 5.5.1

A fix to cap the queue size was introduced in an OD 5.5.1 patch to address bug #35805. However, I don't think the ability to configure the cap came into being until OD 5.6.
