we are using teamsite 5.5 to manage our website.

at the moment we are generate over an workflow 2 shtml files for german and for the italian website and deploy them to
the webserver.

this way is very busy and slow and now i want to ask which others ways are possible?

i think there must be a way do have only one dcr with both languages which is deployed an a was make xml to xhtml translation.

any other ideas?

It doesn't sound like a very good idea to have both language versions of a document in the same DCR. . .you probably want to separate your DCRs by localization. e.g.:

.../data/ge/blah.dcr ../data/it/blah.dcr

To keep changes to one DCR in synch with the other, you could write some quick script to send an email when your german version is edited and your italian version is not. Or, if you have a lot of money, look to translations.com-- they have a nice TeamSite plug in to help solve this problem.
