iwextattr on directories?

Hi,
can I set EAs on directories using iwextattr? I am getting the following error:
Error: NextExtAttr failed

Why is it? and it returns the following errors some times...
Got error 2009 from server

Why am I getting these errors? where can I get a list of errors like the above and the documentation corresponding to them?

Directories are not "first class citizens" in TeamSite - they are not versioned, and hence cannot have EA's set on them.

Nothing in particular .. I was trying to set EAs for all the files in a particular path.. and it threw the errors I mentioned in my previous message. So I was curious to know where I can get the details of the errors like 2009 and 2006 etc. Ghoti clarified that EAs can't be set on directories. Thats clear. But I am not yet quite sure about those error messages.. if anyone can clarify that.. it would be great...

I think there used to be a list of the error codes and messages in the back of the CLT .pdf, but it was pretty useless and I think it may have been removed.
