Concurrent login using same user id

Has anyone encountered any problems while using the same user id simultaneously to login from 2 machines?
Especially the templating part?

Is there anything maintained on the server side for the user sessions (apart from the current working directory)?

Hi,

We'll do that all the time. I actually have one user who will use Lotus Notes to keep 3 sessions open at once in different document windows to get his work done. While that's all on one computer, I know that we sometimes have multiple sessions for the same userid on different PCs.

I don't believe that TS keeps any server-side tracking of this; otherwise, you wouldn't see as many threads about "how do I find out who is logged in" on this bulletin board ;-)

In 6.x, you'll have problems if one person is using
ccpro and the other is using ccstd and they are
sharing a single login. That is not a supported config as
I recall. Not sure what release you're using or exactly
what problem you're seeing, or maybe you're asking
a theoretical question?

I'm using TS 5.5.2 on Win2K.

The problem that I encountered is that when I try to generate HTMLfrom one machine,
I get prompted for the PTs being used for another category that the other person is contributing from another machine (using the same login id).

Has anyone encountered such a problem?
