It was mentioned some where on devnet that if you install SP4 and then later want to migrate to 6.0 then probably you will have to uninstall the service pack 4 before upgrading to 6.0.
Hope that helps

The question is somewhat unclear.
If you are running TS 5.5.2 on Win2K SP3 then you cannot install Win2K SP4.
To install Win2K SP4 you will have to install TS 5.5.2 SP5.
Hope this helps.

If you install TS 5.5.2 SP5 then you will be able to directly upgrade to TS 6.1

Interwoven QA has tested 5.5.2 SPs on Win2k SP3. Win2k SP4 may work with 5.5.2 + SPs, but it's not certified.

We have installed TeamSite 5.5.2 on Win2K SP4 and it didn't install.
If you want to upgrade to Win2K SP4, it is a good idea to upgrade TeamSite 5.5.2 to SP5. This is what Interwoven suggests. Also with TeamSite 5.5.2 SP5 you have a direct upgrade path to TeamSite 6.1 at a later stage.
