has anybody figured out, how to invoke the launchpad configuration settings without having to first edit file in CC PRO? Maybe it's my stupidity, but I could not do it in any other way..

Give this URL command a shot:
http://hostname/iw-cc/localfilemgrsetup

This will launch the local file manager directly.

It's a little hard to find:

View > My Local Files

Then select Settings on the far right side.

Or, use the CCI link posted earlier.
