Web CMS (TeamSite)
CCI URL (Edit) from a custom menu item
herald10
Hi,
At our site each DCR contains a HTML file reference. The task is to bring up that HTML file in edit mode using a custom menu item. This is to be done when the user selects a DCR and clicks that menu item. I know how to do it in emails using CCI URL like..
http://server/iw/webdesk/edit?vpath=/default/main/branch/WORKAREA/waname/index.html
How can that be performed from within CGI menu item?
Thanks a lot

I'm a bit confused - are you trying to edit the referenced HTML file from within a DCR via a top-level TeamSite custom menu item - or are you trying to edit the referenced HTML file from within a DCR within the DCT form via a cgi-callout?
The latter case seems to make the most sense to me - in which case you should be able to adjust the value of the URL for the cgi-callout via FormAPI whenever the value holding the reference to the HTML page is changed.
The former would require that you write your own CGI code to determine which file was selected when the custom menu item was selected; parse the file to find the reference to the HTML page and then probably do a redirect to the CCI URL for that page.
