3GB in one week from OD DB Reporting tool

Hey There,

We recently implemented the OD reporting application using Oracle. After 1 week in production we've got 3GB of data. 2.5 of those GB are in one table called "messages". Has anyone experienced this? What is the messages table for?

Also, has anyone seen a tool for managing these reporting tables? We would like to purge data that is over a month old.

The tables documented in the OD Reference are called:

IWOD_DEPLOYMENTS
IWOD_LEGS
IWOD_MANIFESTS
IWOD_RCVR_DEPLOYMENTS
IWOD_RCVR_MANIFESTS

You can also see this list through the Admin UI if you go to the SQL Query Report window.

You may be looking at the tables for DataDeploy's DAS reporting feature. I believe there is one called "messages". The DD 5.6 Admin guide (April 2003) has a section on Deleting Report Records from the Database.
