Image browse problem
dchristie
This is a strange one. We have a situation where we have one set of super-users who when using a template select to browse an image folder and all 70 images are available, but when the other users do the same thing in the exact same template only a partial list is available to them. Just 25 images show to those users, and it can be the top 25 or bottom 25 depending on how the sort the list given their sort links in the window. It isn't machine specific and has been tested with several users and on different machines, all w/IE 6.0. Seems like it would be a permissions issues, but all the images have the same permissions and same goes for the folders. Besides, if permissions where the case we don't see how a partial list of the image folder would show. This one is really stumping us. We've opend tickets with Interwoven but haven't heard back yet so I thought I'd throw this out to the forum and see if anyone has some input. Cheers.

Hi,
We had similiar problem with Import functionality. I am writing notes from the case that was opened with Interwoven. I do not know whether this will help but still problem looks same..
Indicated that suspect is the settings in the way your client is configured for java processing. The settings outlined below are suggestions that can be applied in the browser to allow for more liberal processing of Java.
* Noted that two other options to investigate are as follows:
- Noting that your client OS seems to be MS-WXP, can you verify that you have loaded TS/TST52SP2 onto the server? XP clients are only supported under this configuration.
- Can you provide your client specifications, i.e. processor, OS (see above), memory for example, I'll begin to investigate if this maybe related to the amount of memory allocated to Java.
* Suggested Internet Options settings for your bro wser:
- Under the Advanced tab
o Check the "Folder view for FTP sites"
o If you are configured to utilize the (Sun) Java VM/JDK for applets, please try turning this off:
Disable Java (sun) - Use Java 2 vx.x.. for <applet>
- Under the Security tab
o In Local Intranet zone, Click Custom Settings,
+ Enable "File Downloads
+ Enable "Navigate sub-frames across diff domains"
+ Enable "Launching programs and files in an IFRAME"
o Repeat for Internet Zone.
