Disabling HTTPS for selected pages?

Another question I have is in regards to performance. Most of our remote users are complaining about how slow WorkSite is and I was thinking about ways to enhance this. One way I know would be a sure thing would be to make it so just the login screen is encrypted and the other pages are just http rather than https. Do you know how I might do this?
