Generated Page Empty
AKB
TeamSite 5.5.2.
OS Solaris
The code was working fine, pages were being generated. After adding iw_if logic the pages are being generated but then in preview mode nothing comes on the browser. When I do view source I do see the complete HTML page but when we try to view the generaged page trough the browser, it is empty.
We went back to old code where everything was great, but now the old code also does not work and we still get an empty preview page.
We did remove the cache of the brower, infact did restart the machine (after umpteen failure attempts to see the preview).
Have u ever seen such behaviour ?

May be there are javascript or HTML errors which would prevent browser from rendering the source? You can try saving the source to a HTML on your local machine and try to open it manually. If it still does not come up , then there is likely to be a problem with the content of the page itself. Try in IE and well as Mozilla. Also, make sure in IE, javascript debugging is enabled.

It is difficult to pinpoint a specific problem with this information. Sri listed some possibilities. Some other things to check:
1. make sure your HTML is closed appropriately ie. all table tags are closed, etc. Sometimes, in editing PTs, you may have inadvertantly altered the HTML structure; I know I have.
2. If on Windows server, try having IIS caching turned off. On that note, you may also want to, if you have filesystem access to your WORKAREA, go in (through a shell) and delete the zz_* temporary files. (These files are hidden in the filesystem UI, so you will need to go through a shell)
