Permissions Issue
mangetak
Hi,
We are facing a problem on permissions. We cannot edit html created on users workareas. When double clicking a file we get this error.
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /iw-mount/default/main/master_branch/WORKAREA/wmaster/noticia/prueba_noticia/es_5153/noticia_1.html on this server
On access_log we get the this line at the time:
10.190.12.15 - - [17/Nov/2004:09:39:03 +0100] "GET /iw-mount/default/main/l92_ivap_org/WORKAREA/l92_comun/biblioteca/aldizkariak/200110/200110.htm HTTP/1.1" 403 373 0 ie00177t
We checked permissions and apparently everything seems to be correct. Anyone know why this could happen?
Thanks in advance

Well, are they correct or not?
Can you edit the file outside of TeamSite (i.e. in your shell or in WordPad -- don't know which platform you're on)? What are all of the directory permissions leading up to /iw-mount/default/main/master_branch/WORKAREA/wmaster/noticia/prueba_noticia/es_5153 ?

Check the file properties in Teamsite and see if the permissions are correct.

branch and workarea permissions will play a part in security.
The file might have open access but if the workarea is not setup correct, you will not be able to access it.
