Licensing and multiple NICs

Does anyone know if it's possible to tell Metatagger to look at a specific NIC for license validation? I can't find anything, and it's getting frustrating. It seems to be fairly random which NIC is chosen, so Metatagger only starts up about 1/2 the time.

The closest I could come was where, in mtserver.cfg, the port that MT listens on is specified in a <host></host> block. I didn't find a DTD corresponding to this file, but I was hoping that there might be an undocumented setting for choosing the IP address to bind to. Perhaps that would also impact the licensing.

TeamSite has addressed this issue by allowing multiple licenses to be active at the same time. MT also needs this facility.

You can try to deactivate the NIC card which doesn't have a MT license key associated with it. Restart MT, then activate the NIC card again.

That may work, but It's hardly a viable solution for a production system. That's no better than keeping twp versions of the license around, and swapping them around until MT starts properly.
