DD Deploy and Run

Are deploy and run scripts a standard feature in DD. If not, there a way to trigger a script to execute code based on a successful DD? I know workflow could handle this, but it there another way?

DD or OD ?

OD has DNR
with DD - you would be invoking a DB trigger of stored procedure or something (DB's are *not* my forte)

You could have OD use a DNR to run DD (iwdd.ipl) and then run something else (either as part of the same DNR script or maybe a second DNR script) - but:
1) I cannot remember if the ordering of DNR scripts being run is top-down, bottom-up or indeterminant
2) iwdd.ipl will be going away when DD merges into OD for the 6.0 release ...
