TS 5.5.2 against Active Directory Win2k3 (native)

Hi,

we are having some problems with our Teamsite server(5.5.2) that is authenticating against an Active Directory (win2k3 domain, native mode).

Teamsite can not read the group permissions from the new domain server and we have tried to set the 'read group permissions' to everyone on the new domain (like kb45400 suggests). However, we can not find the 'everyone' option in the new domain server.

Is this options disappeared in win2k3 domains?
Does anybody have TS working against a win2k3 domain?

(btw, all was working OK on the old NT4 domain)

We have successfully used TS 5.5.2 and TS 6.1 against a W2K active directory. What are the error messages or symptoms you are seeing?

You might also consider giving the access the 'everyone' group had in NT4 to the 'users' group under W2k3. Hope this helps

Our problem is meanwhile solved. Our sys-admins have moved the Teamsite server to a new domain and from there it was able to read the group-permissions.

Don't ask me why this is the solution. I was told that the domains "trusted" each other.

Problem solved.
