Create a blank dcr and attach to workflow for edit

Gidaay all,

My navigation management workflow looks to see if an author has created a dcr of a particular type and name and if they haven't,

I would like the cgi task to create a blank dcr of that datatype and attach it to the workflow so that it can then be edited, how does one create a blank dcr for this purpose?

create a dummy one by hand. Then spit it out by your script (by putting it, say, in the HERE section in your perl script)t and attach appropriate EAs. Or keep it as a file and copy each time to a new one.
