Hi,

TS 6.5, CSF 1.1 Solaris 8

in <iw-home>/CSF/AccessService/etc/websvclog4j.cfg there exists the following
configurable parameters:

#-- events.log
log4j.appender.eventLog.MaxFileSize=1000KB
log4j.appender.eventLog.MaxBackupIndex=99

#-- errors.log
log4j.appender.errorLog.MaxFileSize=1000KB
log4j.appender.errorLog.MaxBackupIndex=99

To me, it appears that the max log file size is default 1mb, but what is the log4j.appender.errorLog.MaxBackupIndex=99 ?

Does this keep 99 interations of a 1mb log file before it rolls over ?

That is correct. It will create 99 log files of 1M each before it starts rolling over logs.
